A Rhyme in Time
A funny thing happened to me today, remarkable it is to say, that all the stories in my head came out rhyming instead.
I am thinking “this cannot be me, poetry and rhyming is too difficult you see.” However, there is a greater plan, beyond my thinking or control, gifts bestowed upon one, too marvellous to behold.
My children’s books already written, have now got me smitten with rhyming and chiming like never before. How delightful they appear now, I imagine every knee now, with one’s child or grandy sitting there, delighting in the story told, with words they too, can hold.
There is nothing, in my mind more delightful or rewarding, than creating. Downloads of creative energy comes from being in the flow ,of doing what we love to do, our cups filled, just so.
Written about in the past, I know, but encouraging and well worth repeating. How important it is to find, a moment amongst the tasks around us, to be seated.
So take those deep breaths, put a smile upon your face and just take in and receive the peace within, with grace. Forgive me as I continue to rhyme, I am having such a lovely time, every word that springs from my mouth wants to shine.
I promise my next blog will return to my storytelling way, of bringing a word in season, for a time such as this, to make you think and make you ponder “is there something more than this?” Something or someone beyond what we see, who brings a special delivery, from time to time upon the mind, to delight and bring joy, you see.
Have a blessed and beautiful Christmas with friends or family, and remember you are not alone even if you think so. You are loved, adored and special, there is no one else like you. No one else with your finger prints, or the special things you do.
No, no one else is like you, and the world is a better place, because of you and the smile upon your face.
